Chelsea is an instructor at Fierce45, a high-intensity pilates studio, and CYCLEBAR, a spinning studio. She believes athleisure wear should be worn everyday, that leggings are life, and lives by the phrase, "do it with passion or not at all."
How did you first get interested in fitness?
I have been an athlete my whole life and when I went to college I stopped play sports at a competitive level, and I wanted to continue working out and feeling good. I started working out in the gym and would take yoga classes here and there. Once I fully dove in to group classes (ie. pilates and cycle) my passion for fitness leveled up.
What are some of your favorite songs/artists to listen to when getting psyched up for a workout?
I love dance music. My all time fave is Marshmello. I also like RL Grime and good 'ol JT.
What's your superfood?
Apples and almond butter - IT IS LIFE!
What are your top health and wellness goals for 2019? Any advice for others trying to set some of their own?
My top goals are to continue down my path of living my best/healthiest life. This not only means continuing with my physical workouts, but also includes eating clean/whole foods and creating strong/positive/ healthy self talk. My advice for others(two tips): DRINK MORE WATER and do what feels good - life is too short to indulge in things that don't make you feel good or do something because it is the "it thing" do you and stay in your power.
